Scoil Bhríde Active Schools Week took place from May 30th to June 2nd. Activities included new orienteering routes, ‘Drop Everything and Dance’, ‘Walk a Mile with a Smile’ challenge, active travel, tennis, badminton, gymnastics and staff v students games. In addition, the Football Marathon took place on our new playing pitches on Thursday June 2nd with the help of the Parents Association and Edenderry GAA. Many thanks to the Parents’ Association, Edenderry GAA and its coaches for their continued support and efforts again this year. Also, we would like to thank Frank Kilrane for taking the time to help with Athletics Day.
Active Schools Week took place from 8th – 12th June beginning with Athletics on Monday with Frank Kilrane. Sports day for Juniors and Seniors took place on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Football Marathon was on Thursday and Staff Vs Students took place on Friday. This year, for Active Schools Week, pupils got the opportunity to use a wide range of new equipment for the first time. Other activities included ‘Drop Everything and Dance’, ‘Walk a Mile with a Smile Challenge’, ‘Active Travel Competition’, Tennis, Badminton, Gymnastics and much more. Great fun was had by all!

Sports Day Winners and Achievements
