Official Opening of Scoil Bhríde’s Astro-Turf Pitch

Thursday, April 10th, was a truly memorable and joyful day at Scoil Bhríde as we celebrated the official opening of our brand new Astro-turf pitch. Under glorious sunshine, our Principal, Mr. Duffy, was joined by our eldest student, Cian Quinn, and our youngest student, Amir Ajani, to cut the ribbon and mark this special occasion.

We were honoured to welcome our guest of honour, Mrs. Fiona Brady, who was accompanied by her daughter, Ms. Ciara Brady, and granddaughter, Ríadh. Their presence made the day all the more special.

We also welcomed many local people and businesses who sponsored and supported the development. A heartfelt thank you again goes to all our generous sponsors and supporters. This project would not have been possible without you. Your contributions have helped turn a long-held dream into a vibrant reality for our school community.

Author Visit- Shane Hegarty

👏📚Our 3rd & 4th classes enjoyed a visit and workshop from author Shane Hegarty last week. They learned all about where he gets his writing ideas from and how he weaves them all together.
These classes are currently reading two of his books – “Boot” and “The Shop of Impossible Icecreams”.
A huge thank you to Shane Hegarty for facilitating this wonderful experience for the children.
