On Friday the 30th of September, over 30 boys and girls from 3rd – 6th class took part in the Offaly Cross Country Athletics competition. It was an extremely successful day for us, coming home with 5 medals: Nathan from 5th class finished in the top ten in the 850 metres race and our 6th class boys team of Cian, Josh, Mark and Mason placing 3rd overall in their 850 metres competition. Well done to all the boys and girls who ran so well, it was a very enjoyable day for all involved.
